The mother of an Overland Park infant who was found dead in summer of 2023 pleaded no contest to murder and multiple child abuse charges. Alexis Siera Williams, the mother of a 1-year-old child who was found dead in 2023 in Overland Park, has pleaded no contest to murder and multiple child abuse charges. Williams and Kevin S. Martenia, along with the child, were charged with the death of the child who died from an intestinal blockage and other injuries. The child had been dead for about 11 hours and was found with bruising, protruding ribs and signs of malnourishment. Williams is set to be sentenced on November 23, 2026, while Martena is set for trial on January 19, 2027.
