KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One driver was seriously injured after his motorcycle veered off a rural Missouri roadway and flipped near Strasburg.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports indicate that around 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, emergency crews were called to the area of State Route E and Struzick Rd., near Strasburg, with reports of a single-vehicle collision.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a 2023 Susaki GSXR750 motorcycle driven by Nathan M. Cross, 31, had been headed south on Route E. However, Cross failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway and veered off the highway to the right where the vehicle flipped over.

MSHP indicated that Cross was not wearing any safety devices and his bike was totaled. He was taken to Research Medical Center by the Pleasant Hill Fire Department with serious injuries.
