Operation Breakthrough hosts 9th annual Warm Up KC event
It’s the 9th annual Warm Up KC event where anyone in need can shop for free at Operation Breakthrough. Operation Breakthrough, a local nonprofit, has hosted its 9th annual Warm Up KC event in Kansas City, offering free clothes and other items for those in need. The event aims to ensure local families have the necessary items for winter survival. The charity is giving out free coats, gloves, scarves, clothing, blankets, shoes and more. The Child Protection Center is also providing self care kits for kids. The Warm Up event also includes a bounce house, face painting, hot chocolate and arts and crafts for the kids. However, the charity still requires donations year round at drop boxes across the metro or from your door.
