Step inside Kansas City’s niche fragrance shop to find your own ‘really unique’ scent

The popular Brookside fragrance booth is expanding to offer more from scent sommeliers. H.Bath Perfumer, a niche Kansas City fragrance shop, is expanding into its own storefront and will open at 309 E 55th St. on Nov 3. The new location will allow the shop to carry twice as many scents and introduce between six and ten new brands for customers. The shop, currently located at GE George a Lifestyle Store, will open its own space a few doors down at 309. Bath and her team of scent sommeliers, Kraig Naugle, Allante Hall, and Jaron (Jay) Lashley, have been working for 20 years to develop fragrances in Los Angeles and skincare for Oak Essentials before returning to her hometown where she found niche fragrance options.
