Idaho’s the 'alpha and omega of nuclear’: Gov. Little pitches Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campus at Arco ‘Capital for a Day’ event

Idaho Governor Brad Little and Lieutenant Governor Scott Bedke are pushing for a new nuclear innovation campus in eastern Idaho at a ‘Capital for a Day’ event in Arco. The event, held at the same venue as Arco as the world’s first atomic-powered city, featured top elected officials and leaders from 10 state agencies. The campus could create 25,000 jobs, attract up to $50 billion in capital investment, and generate $10 to $20 billion in state and local revenues. The project is in competition with six other states for the project. The Department of Energy is expected to announce three finalists by the end of this year.
