A Kansas City woman, Alysia Madison, has started a monthly event on Prospect Avenue, starting in August 2026 to connect small business owners to a neighborhood that often gets overlooked. The event, which also includes black-owned and woman-owned businesses, allows for an in-person interaction with customers and allows local businesses to showcase their creations.
