Garth Brooks Kansas City Ticket Sale Halted by Bots
Bots crashed Garth Brooks' third Kansas City ticket sale. He says he's personally looking into it. Ticket sales for Garth Brooks' third Kansas City concert were halted due to bot activity, which overran the on-sale within moments of it opening. The Saturday, Nov. 7 matinee at T-Mobile Center had only just been added to the schedule due to high demand. Tickets were priced at $155 before taxes, broken down as a $140 base ticket, a $5 facility fee, and a $10 service charge. Brooks apologized to fans and pledged to investigate what went wrong. This isn't the first time bots have disrupted Brooks' on-selling events this tour. Federal law allows the Federal Trade Commission to take law-enforcement action against individuals and companies that use bot-driven ticket buying to evade online ticket limits.
