This matcha pop-up stand is creating distinct flavors and long lines across KC

HerCafe has been a fan-favorite spot for matcha across Kansas City, especially at the Overland Park Farmers Market. HerCafe, a matcha-only pop-up stand in Kansas City, is creating distinct flavors and long lines across the city. The business, which opened at 7:30 a.m. during the farmers market season, saw sales of 500-600 cups of matcha and a total of $8 per cup. Yasmen Hassen and Lujyn Elsayed, co-founder of HerCafe and former baristas, believe they are one of the few businesses in the U.S. that strictly sell matcha. Their menu includes nine different matcha flavors, with fan favorite flavors being banana pudding and berry chantilly matchas. The stand has also been seen at other events and locations in the metro.
