Will Josh Simmons play on 'SNF'? Status update for Chiefs OL in Week 7
Will Chiefs OL Josh Simmons take the field to face the Seahawks on 'Sunday Night Football' in Week 7? Here's the latest update on Simmons' status: Offensive lineman Josh Simmons, expected to be the Kansas City Chiefs' starting left tackle for the season, has yet to play in 2026 due to a back injury that has kept him from participating in any Chiefs' practices during the season. Simmons was placed on the injured reserve list this week, meaning he will miss at least four games. He is not expected to play against the Seattle Seahawks on 'Sunday Night Football' this evening. With Simmons sidelined, rookie Kahlil Benson will replace him.
