Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is an international day dedicated to recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community. The Kansas City Chamber will host the Transformation in the Workplace program at the Federal Reserve Bank on March 29th at the time. The day will include transgender and gender non-binary inclusion training, a Resource Fair, and three separate educational tracks. Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is an international day dedicated to recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community. Our Chamber celebrates this year's TDOV by holding the Transformation in the Workplace program, set for March 29th at the Federal Reserve Bank here in Kansas City. The day will include transgender and gender non-binary inclusion training and a Resource Fair.
Educational Program
The day consists of three separate educational tracks. Each track will provide three focused sessions for a specific audience:
Track 1 Businesses beginning their journey - to provide those who are early on in their journey with the tools and information to best support *TGX folx in the workplace.
Track 2 Businesses advancing their journey - to provide those who have established practices/policies for TGX employees and want to dig deeper.
Track 3 The Community - to provide information and resources for our LGBTQ+ siblings and family.
There is no requirement for attendees to stay ?on track?. We encourage people to attend whichever session will most benefit them.
Resource Fair
The fair offers local organizations to exhibit their resources focused on the transgender and gender non-binary community. Community members and their business allies are encouraged to attend the fair.
