Police found two men with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle and pronounced one dead at the scene and another in stable condition at a nearby hospital. The investigation is ongoing. Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a shooting involving two men that left onedead and the other wounded Thursday evening, a spokesman for the department said.
Police were called to the 3700 block of State Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. on a reported shooting and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle, officer T.J. Tomasic said in a statement.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other man was taken to an area hospital. That man who was hospitalized was described as being in stable condition.
The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting may call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
