Cobb was fatally shot on February 20 as he sat in his car in a parking lot near the intersection of Missouri 291 Highway and 23rd Street. In his obituary, loved ones described Cobb as "a shining light in the lives of all who knew him" and his daughter as "his proudest achievement."
