Clay County announces deadline extension for personal property, real estate tax bills
Clay County announced that residents will have a little longer to pay their tax bills this time around. Clay County has extended the payment deadline for both personal property and real estate tax bills to Jan. 30, 2026, due to delays from the Senior Real Estate Property Tax Relief Program. The county hopes this will eliminate confusion and lessen the burden on residents who may have received their bills later than expected. There will be no penalties or interest for anyone who pays by the extended deadline. Tax bills for parcels enrolled in the program are available online and all other bills have been mailed out.
